A treasure chest of history and natural beauty in the heart of Bari It is the Bonomo park, a green area open to the public located on via Amendola. The garden, which extends over an area of ​​approximately 20 thousand square metres, was acquired by the municipality as part of the INED program agreement signed by the Urban Planning division. The park of the eighteenth-century villa, bound by the Superintendence, has 250 tall trees, including pines and centuries-old olive trees, 350 shrubs and hundreds of ornamental plants. The outgoing mayor Antonio Decaro and the councilor for Infrastructure and public works Nicola Mele carried out an inspection. The new public area has also been equipped with a green amphitheater, with plantings and a small stage that can host events and events, and a play space equipped for the little ones. In the summer season the park will be open to the public from 7.30 am to 11 pm and can be accessed from the entrances on via Amendola and via Gino Strada, while the entrance on the extension of via Lenoci will not be usable, at least for the moment.
