Success for the second day of the Absolute Gold national championships

The second day of competitions of the Absolute Gold National Championships, taking place this weekend at the Aldo De Santis Palatennistavolo, also ended successfully. This day was dedicated to the women’s epee and foil competitions, where the athletes fought to earn the access pass to the Italian Championships in Cagliari.

Out of a total of 194 participants, only the top eight for each weapon secured access to the grand final. The qualifiers are:

Tomorrow, the focus will shift to men’s and women’s saber and men’s foil. All the final stages of the competitions will be broadcast live on the Federscherma TV1 YouTube channel and on the Facebook profile of the Italian Fencing Federation, offering fans the opportunity to closely follow the athletes’ performances.
