competitions for OSS and mechanical experts

The Provincial Company for Health Services (APSS) of Trento has announced two public competitions for OSS and mechanics.

Public selections involve the hiring of resources through an employment contract indefinite period.

To apply you have until June 7, 2024.

Below we present all the useful information on the required requirements, how the selection process takes place, how to submit the application for admission and we make the notices available for download.

COMPETITIONS FOR OSS AND MCANNICI APSS TRENTO

The APSS of Trento (Trentino Alto Adige) has therefore announced two competitions for the following hires:

• professional profile of social-health worker (OSS) indefinitely. At the same time as the competition procedure, the public selection process for fixed-term hires in the same professional profile will take place;
• professional profile of Technical Assistant – mechanical expert indefinitely.

REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED

Candidates in possession of the general requirements for access to public competitions can participate in the competitions for the hiring of OSS and mechanics at APSS Trento, namely:

• Italian citizenship or one of the European Union countries or other categories indicated in the announcement;
• having reached the age of majority and not having reached the maximum limit required for retirement;
• enjoyment of civil and political rights;
• registration on the electoral lists of the municipality of residence;
• not have been dismissed, dismissed, dismissed or declared forfeited from a state job;
• absence of criminal convictions and/or ongoing criminal proceedings, and not having been banned or subjected to measures that exclude appointment to jobs in public bodies;
• for male competitors only born before 12/31/1985, have complied with the military service obligations and the legal provisions on recruitment.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

The following are also required of candidates for competitions specific requirements:

SOCIAL HEALTH WORKERS

• qualification certificate as a social-healthcare worker obtained at the end of a training course or qualification obtained abroad recognized as equivalent to the Italian one by Decree of the Ministry of Health.

MECHANICAL EXPERTS

• high school diploma issued by a technical institute – “technological” sector – “mechanics, mechatronics and energy” address or equivalent qualification or one of the following university qualifications:
  – Three-year degree in Electrical Engineering belonging to the L 09 class;
  – Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (LM-33) or specialist degree in Engineering
  mechanics (class 36/S) or equivalent qualification obtained abroad;
• qualification to practice the profession of industrial expert – mechanical direction.

HOW THE SELECTION IS CARRIED OUT

The Company reserves the right, in relation to the number of applications received for each competition, to precede the exam tests with a preselection.

Subsequently the candidates will be subjected to two exams, one written and one oral.

Subjects subject of examination are the following:

COMPETITION FOR SOCIAL HEALTH WORKER

• personal assistance and care;
• technical healthcare skills;
• safety and comfort interventions in different care settings;
• hygienic-sanitary aspects;
• communication and relationships with users and family members;
• work organization and relationship with the team;
• ethical and deontological aspects in relationships with family members and in teams.

COMPETITION FOR MECHANICS

• technical regulations regarding systems;
• regulations regarding plant safety;
• safety for pressure equipment;
• environmental and acoustic pollution;
• fire prevention;
• prevention of legionella and other biological contamination;
• worker safety and health;
• containment of energy consumption;
• public works and for transparency in procurement.

This public selection complies with the new rules set out in the public competition regulations.

SALARY

The winners of the OSS competition are entitled to a gross annual salary equal to €22,037.73, while the winners of the competition for mechanics are entitled to a gross annual salary equal to €21,758.52.

HOW TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION

The application for participation in the competitions organized by the APSS of Trento must be submitted by 12.00 on 7 June 2024 exclusively online, by connecting to the following pages:

Candidates external to the Provincial Health Services Company of Trento will access the
application through the link called ‘External competition link’.

To participate in the competitions, the payment of the competition fee is required €25.00.

It is always useful when participating in a public selection to be in possession of a address of certified mail, as the Bodies can also communicate to candidates via PEC. Anyone without a PEC can read in this article how to obtain one in just 30 minutes, from home.
