A twinning in the name of legality between Tortoreto, Alba Adriatica and Martinsicuro and their respective schools with the symbol of the laburnum plant dedicated to the 24-year-old musician Giambattista Cutolo known as Giogiò, murdered for trivial reasons by a minor in Naples. The initiative promoted by the Borsellino national prize of the “Civil Society” association took place yesterday morning in Tortoreto. The tree was planted in the Trieste roundabout and 450 steps, from three different points, were walked by the three mayors – Domenico Piccioni of Tortoreto, Antonietta Casciotti of Alba Adriatica e Massimo Vagnoni of Martinsicuro – together with its administrations and the students of the three cities, who brought balloons with the names of the victims of the mafia massacres to highlight the importance of legality in the memory of Giogiò and the day after the anniversary of the Capaci massacre, where the anti-mafia judge lost his life Giovanni Falcone with his wife Francesca Morvillo and their escort. The choice of laburnum is not random: wind instruments are made from it and Giogiò played the horn in the Scarlatti Young Orchestra.
