05/23/2024 – On the occasion of the press conference held on Thursday 23 May at the Metaurense Hall of the Palazzo Ducale in Pesaro, the Rubes Triva Foundation and the Olympus Observatory of the “Carlo Bo” University of Urbino revealed the program of the Third Edition of the International Festival of Health and Safety at Work.

The event will take place in Pesaro from 12 to 14 June, preceded by the live show “Safety Love” which will take place in Piazza del Popolo on the evening of Tuesday 11 June.

Now in its third edition, the Festival is organized by the Rubes Triva Foundation in collaboration with INAIL and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA). This year’s central theme, “Prevention and protection policies for working people”, will be explored through four different sessions during the three days of the Festival. These meetings aim to promote a culture of safety and prevention in the workplace, with a particular focus on the moral and physical integrity of workers.

The Prefect of Pesaro and Urbino, Emanuela Saveria Greco, expressed great satisfaction: “I am pleased that my invitation to move an event of this magnitude to the city, on the occasion of Pesaro being the Capital of Italian Culture, was welcomed with particular fervour. It is a unique opportunity for both the city and the citizens, especially given the relevance of the topics discussed, on which it is necessary to reflect and for which, for some time, the Prefecture has been acting and working”.

The Director of the Rubes Triva Foundation, Giuseppe Mulazzi, added: “We have decided to start this cultural and international event to speak to civil society in its entirety. This path, now in its third edition, aims to focus on the person, who with one’s work not only takes on greater dignity but helps the community. The moral integrity of the person who works must be protected in production systems”.

Massimo Bonelli, CEO of iCompany and Artistic Director of “Safety Love”, announced the ten artists who will perform on the stage in Piazza del Popolo in Pesaro during the evening event. The artists are: BigMama, Coma_Cose, Edoardo Bennato, Francesca Barra, Leo Gassmann, Malika Ayane, Neri Marcorè, Noemi, Piero Pelù and Stefano Massini. The show, in collaboration with the G. Rossini Symphony Orchestra, will be conducted by Monica Setta and subsequently broadcast on the Rai network.

The event represents an important opportunity to reflect and discuss fundamental issues related to health and safety at work. The participation of high-profile artists and the support of local and national institutions underline the importance of spreading a culture of safety and prevention, essential elements for the well-being of workers and, consequently, for the growth of society as a whole.

Pesaro is thus preparing to welcome an event that combines culture, music and reflection, in a setting of international relevance, strengthening its role as the capital of Italian culture and promoter of fundamental values for the community.
