Barletta students awarded for the artistic competition “Diversi da chi?”

In recent days, the awards ceremony for the works created as part of the artistic competition was held “Different from who?” aimed at enhancing the uniqueness and extraordinary nature of each individual. The competition was promoted and organized by the School Integration Service of the Municipality of Barletta managed by the ATI social cooperatives “Vivere Insieme – Shalom”.

The competition was attended by pupils from the primary classes of the IC D’Azeglio-De Nittis, the IC “Musti-Dimiccoli”, the IC Giovanni Paolo II, the IC “Mennea-Baldacchini”, the IC “Modugno- Moro”, of the 3rd CD “N. Fraggianni”, of the 6th CD “R. Girondi”, who created works with different techniques dedicated to the theme of diversity.

The works, accompanied by a title and brief description, were exhibited in an exhibition set up at the 3rd Circolo Didattico “N. Fraggianni” and were evaluated by a commission made up of representatives of the Municipality of Barletta and the ATI, based on the following criteria: relevance to the theme, originality, correctness of the technique used and communicative capacity of the work.

The finalist works were:

  1. Equal in Uniqueness” created by the students of the IC “Musti-Dimiccoli”, awarded with a tablet;
  2. Together we fly high” created by the students of the 3rd CD “N. Fraggianni”, awarded with a voucher for school supplies worth €50.00;
  3. Nobody is perfectly normal…but everyone is perfectly themselves” created by the students of the IC “Giovanni Paolo II”, rewarded with a voucher for school supplies worth €30.00.

The competition is the result of the collaboration of the municipal administration with school managers, teachers, primary school pupils and the service management body who made the prizes available to the finalist schools.
