PESCARA – From the product development path in history, to the world of craft beer, passing through the description of recipes, raw materials, technical and technological innovations. A beer course organized by Assosommelier starts in Pescara.

It will be understood how social and cultural events and changes, in the places of original production, have influenced the characteristics and methods of consumption of beer; without forgetting an in-depth look at pairing with food, in true Assosommelier style.

“For the first time in Pescara we will hold a course on beer organized by Assosommelier. In fact, in addition to ordinary training courses, the association also organizes thematic courses on oil, beer, spirits, sake and more”, he says Antonio Ruzzi regional contact person of the association.

“The course on Champagne has just ended in Pescara and achieved great success. The one on distillates is already scheduled for September”, announces Ruzzi.

Course director will be for the first time Ivano Trugli, Assosommelier teacher who last September was a judge at the World Competition of gluten-free beers and at the Best Bio 2023 held in Pompeii: “During the path to becoming a sommelier, at the third level, there is a lesson dedicated entirely to brewing culture. Over the last two years, I have had the privilege of teaching this very lesson and from here I perceived the considerable interest of the students in this topic and I could not ask for a better teacher than Leonardo RossiMaster Sommelier and national manager of the Assosommelier service group”.

During the lessons there will be 16 tastings of beers produced in 16 different brewing styles, using the visual descriptive analytical form developed by the Association’s expert teachers. There will be a focus on service techniques and a hint on the basics of home brewing.

The location chosen is that of the Regent Pescara hotel. Each appointment will start at 8.30 pm and will last approximately 2 hours for every Wednesday in the month of June starting from the 5th.
