Pescara has not yet decided who to entrust with technical guidance for next season. The former Biancazzurro expressed himself as follows on the topic: “Pescara is a piece of my heart, I’m a huge fan. Who knows, one day I would be very happy to coach the blue and whites but it is always difficult to work in the city where you live. I think Pescara played a good championship. Cerignola? It’s a shame we couldn’t finish the season.”
Ivan Tisci, just turned 50, is fresh from his experience in Serie C at the helm of Cerignola, the first of his professional career. A journey that the former blue and white (97 appearances and 14 goals with the Delfino shirt) was unable to complete due to his dismissal arriving 7 days before the end of the season.
“It was a positive experience, the first among professionals after having done some apprenticeship in the minor leagues (Bisceglie and Fasano in D). It’s a shame we couldn’t finish the season. However, I look at the positive aspect. I think I grew up and then I ventured into a very complicated group. For this I am satisfied.
I have followed Pescara’s latest matches closely. Very young squad, promising players. We hoped for a better ending but I think that in the end the biancazzurri played a good championship.”
