Saturday 25 May arrives at Rimini, on the free beach between Riminiterme and the Colonia Bolognese, the widespread festival Hymn to Getting Lostpromoted by the Spazi Indecisi association: a series of walks, meetings, sounds, projections to connect the itineraries of In Loco, the Widespread Museum of Abandonment, in a reflection on the past, present and future of the Romagna area.

The initiative is on the free beach between Riminiterme and the Colonia Bolognese “Colonies in the air”, event organized by Spazi Indecisi, Il Pallononcino Rosso and Artevento Cervia Aquiloni dal Mondo APS, in collaboration with Riminiterme and Blue Beach, reinterprets, through play, the seaside colonies built during the fascist regime, coloring them and making them fly.

Between kite making workshops, games on the sand, readings and stories, one of the symbolic places of holidays on the Riviera will be brought back to life.

The program includes from 2.30pm to 7.30pm:

· educational workshops for children organized by Artevento Cervia Aquiloni dal Mondo APS

· Reading and games area

· Photo exhibition “Stories of Cologne – Summer tales – Bolognese and Novara”edited by The Red Balloon.

· At 5.00 pm: guided tour “Around the Bolognese and Novara colonies”, edited by Silvia Capelli, architect and Red Balloon volunteer and ⁠Luca Villa, source research, exhibition co-author and Red Balloon volunteer. Meeting point: free parking of the Colonia Bolognese (reservation recommended)

“The “Colonies in the air” initiative and the widespread Festival Hymn to Getting Lost they celebrate the profound bond between places now abandoned and memories”, states Francesco Tortori, co-founder of the Spazi Indecisi association and of On site, the widespread museum of abandonment“and invite participants to get lost in the past, present and future of the territory through memories, suggestions and dreams, letting themselves be guided by curiosity towards the territory and its history”.

The Colonia Bolognese is included in In Loco, the Widespread Museum of Abandoning and in particular in the Totally Riviera itinerary, a journey along the Romagna coast to discover the colonies built during the fascist regime, between rationalism and monumentalism. The itinerary can be enjoyed by downloading the In Loco app, available for free on the main online stores, and approaching the places on the itinerary.
