Viterbo – “The Uil of Viterbo becomes a cardioprotect centre, the only trade union structure in Tuscia”. The general secretary of the union, Giancarlo Turchetti, during the presentation of the initiative this afternoon at the headquarters in via Cardarelli in Viterbo where a defibrillator was installed in collaboration with the Ruben Ciarlanti association.

“The defibrillator – says Turchetti – is located within the CAF and union patronage services, where many people come every day. And all our operators have taken BLSD courses to intervene in case of need.”
Together with Turchetti, there are also the general secretary of Uil Lazio, Alberto Civica, and the president of the Ruben Ciarlanti association, Francesco Ciarlanti.

“I thank Turchetti – concludes Ciarlanti – who has shown sensitivity towards the aims of the association, welcoming with favor and enthusiasm the installation of a defibrillator within the Uil. In one year of activity, our association has distributed 20 defibrillators throughout Tuscia and trained more than 250 people”.
