Grand finale in Cremona for “Sustainable development and food education”, the educational project of Coldiretti Cremonaaimed at the primary and secondary schools of the Province, with the participation of some nursery schools, in collaboration with the Territorial School Office, with Coldiretti Donne Impresa and Giovani Impresa at the forefront in the commitment to promote healthy lifestyles combined with environmental sustainability
The rain did not discourage the students, who packed the Maffei room of the Chamber of Commerce, together with teachers, institutional representatives and farmers. All protagonists of a memorable morning – in the name of the celebration and the meeting between school, agriculture and city – for the closing of a project with record numbers: six courses, one hundred classes, over two thousand students.
The big final party, initially scheduled in Piazza Duomo and moved to Sala Maffei due to the weather, was all about enthusiasm. Arriving around 9.30, armed with smiles and yellow hats, the students received the Coldiretti backpack as a gift, with the peasant snack, and took their places in the room for the start of the award ceremony for the winning classes. Welcoming the students on stage were Maria Paglioli and Daniela Antonioli, respectively manager and deputy of Coldiretti Donne Impresa Cremona, Elisa Mignani, president of Terranostra Cremona, Piercarlo Ongini, delegate of young farmers, and with them the nutritionist Samuele Bigliani and the female entrepreneurs agricultural workers Michela Feroldi and Elena Peri representing the entire team involved in the lessons.
At the forefront in the proclamation of the winning classes were, among others, the mayor of Cremona Gianluca Galimberti, the councilors Luca Burgazzi and Maura Ruggeri, Francesca Biffi, head of Women Enterprise Coldiretti Lombardia, and Maria Guarino representing the Territorial School Office . The morning was led by Luca Riva of Radio Bruno.
Through a beautiful video, the classes relived the paths of the project: “Climbing the Food Pyramid”, “Milk full of calcium”, “Farm animals”, “AcquaVita”, “As good as honey”, “Art at the table ”.
Among applause and waving of yellow hats, the winners were announced. Here are the champions of the 2023-24 edition.
