Three hundred free books will be distributed from Thursday 23 May, each valid for two tickets for four shows of your choice, for a total of 2,400 free entries for young people born in 1993 or later: these are the beautiful numbers of Free giftsnow a tradition with which Ravenna Festival – thanks to the support of Foundation of Monte di Bologna and Ravenna – invites the new generation of spectators under 30 to immerse themselves in the rich calendar of events.

Available from 3pm on Thursday on the official social pages, the carnets guarantee a pair of free tickets for each of the four selected shows. The first choice is between Pluto with which Marco Martinelli brings Aristophanes back to life, Nina by Fanny & Alexander dedicated to Nina Simone and The Ice Shaman on the Inuit people. The second choice is between three concerts (directed respectively by Kirill Petrenko, Simon Rattle and Riccardo Muti), while the third includes the films Naqoyqatsi and Powaqqatsi by Godfrey Reggio and Philip Glass with live soundtrack, Don’t tell me you’re afraid on the history of Somali athlete Samia Yusuf Omar and the appointment at the Pavaglione in Lugo with John De Leo Jazzabilly Lovers, Rita Marcotulli and Enrico Rava. Fourth and final choice between the two shows at Palazzo San Giacomo a Russi, namely the Calexico concert and The Long Night of Balfolk.
