Two days after the end of the championship National women’s team will gather at the Tirrenia Olympic Preparation Center for a short internship in view of double qualifying match for EURO 2025 with Norway.
Coach Andrea Soncin has called up 28 players for the meeting which will take place from Tuesday 21st to Friday 24th May. First call for Genoa goalkeeper Camilla Forcinella and for sisters Talia and Victoria Della Peruta, Sampdoria midfielder and striker respectively. Just over a year after her knee injury, Matilde Pavan is also back in the group. The players of Roma and Fiorentina will not be there, playing in the final of the Frecciarossa Italian Cup on 24 May.
At the end of the internship, the call-ups will be issued for the two matches with the Scandinavian national team, scheduled for Friday 31 May in Oslo (6pm) and Tuesday 4 June (6.15pm) in Ferrara.
