“In my speech today I announced the vote in favour, albeit with sacrifice and hardship, of the agreement for the management of the Liberati stadium, between the municipality of Terni and Ternana calcio. I voted in favor because the main objective was to guarantee Ternana’s registration in the next professional football championship, hoping that it would remain in Serie B”.
This was said by Forza Italia group leader Francesco Ferranti who, in fact, combined his vote with that of the majority on the specific resolution.
“I voted in favor of this bridge agreement despite the fact that it leaves open some previous critical issues such as the failure to allocate resources in the forecast budget for the extraordinary maintenance of the stadium which will have to be subjected to a new anti-seismic plan and the stipulation of the stadium-agreement clinic with the latter expected to be built on an area owned by Mayor Bandecchi. Lastly, the lack of surety coverage emerged, which is essential when assets owned by the organization such as the stadium are handed over to private individuals. This coverage does not exist but it is provided for in the act and this clarifies for the umpteenth time how even on simple things this administration shows a clear inadequacy. But despite these three critical issues, I decided to vote in favor because what is important to me and the Forza Italia group is that Ternana can be guaranteed registration for the next championship”.
