TREVISO – There will be neither a start nor a stage finish. But Treviso, Thursday and Saturdaywill be crossed twice by Tour of Italy, with a whole series of bans and changes to road traffic as imposed by the pink caravan. THE Overall, the inconveniences will be limited, but they will not be lacking. The 18th stage is scheduled for Thursday, starting from Fiera di Primiero and arriving in Padua. It will only be between 3.30pm and 3.45pm Avenue of the Republic to watch the runners pass by. On Saturday, however, the 20th stage, starting from Alpago and arriving in Bassano del Grappa, the Giro will cover the most beautiful roads of the hills and of the Pedemontana, from Ca’ del Poggio to Possagno with a double ascent to Monte Grappa. Mom, the company that manages public transport in the province, has already announced that the journeys of buses and coaches will undergo modifications or suspensions due to the early road closures, scheduled approximately two hours before the passage of the runners until the passage of the last cars following the pink caravan.
THE ROAD
The 18th stage of the Giro d’Italia, scheduled for Thursday, will touch the territories of Feltre, Carpen, Quero and Fener in the province of Belluno and those of Valdobbiadene, Guia, Col San Martino, Sernaglia della Battaglia, Falzè di Piave, Ponte della Priula, Spresiano, Villorba, Treviso, Quinto and Zero Branco for the province of Treviso. Due to the closure of the road system, bus and courier lines 101, 102, 103, 117, 517, 118, 119, 120, 121, 521, 122, 123, 123 will be suspended approximately from 12pm (in Feltre) to 4pm. 125, 126, 130, 131, 132, 532, 133, 533, 135, 535, 186, 564 and 566. The trips on lines 106, 110, 107, 112, 113 and 114 have been diverted. In Treviso buses on line 1 will be suspended (arrival at the station from 12.25pm until 4pm or until no longer necessary), line 4 (arrival at the station from 12.45pm until 4pm or until needs cease), line 6 (arrival at the station from 12.20pm until 4.50pm or until needs cease), line 9 (from 1pm arrival at the station until 4pm or until needs cease), line 55 (from 12.15pm arrival at the station until 4pm or until needs cease), line 61 (arrival at the station from 12.45pm until 4pm or until no longer needed). The Airlink service to Canova airport will however be guaranteed although there may be delays in travel times. On Saturday, however, the Giro d’Italia will touch the territories of Alpago and Sella di Fadalto in the province of Belluno and Vittorio Veneto, Revine, Tarzo, Ca’ del Poggio, San Pietro di Feletto, Refrontolo, Pieve di Soligo, Sernaglia della Battaglia, Vidor, Crocetta, Cornuda, Pederobba, Cavaso del Tomba, Possagno, Pieve del Grappa and Borso del Grappa in the province of Treviso, then passing through the Vicenza areas of Romano d’Ezzelino and Bassano del Grappa. Indicatively, from 10am in Vittorio Veneto until 6pm, during road closures, lines 110, 127, 129, 130, 131, 132, 134, 191, 192, 217, 224, 960 will be suspended, and the lines 203 and 204. The buses of line 31 are also suspended in Vittorio Veneto (from 9.15 Rendez Vous towards Longhere, until 12.15 or until the needs cease).
EVENTS
However, the party for the Giro in the Marca will begin tomorrow: stage number 17 of 68 km will start from Valdobbiadene, Valdobbiadene-Bricon Pass of the Giro-Ethe one on electric bikes where the people of Treviso are also involved Sacha Modoloformer professional, the bicycle influencer, of Neapolitan origins but Treviso by adoption and former professional, Raffaele Ferrara and the triathlete Alessandra Fior. At the start of the Criterium are the champions who will finish the Giro next Sunday in Rome. They wait Tiberi, Zana, Pellizzari and the best Italians. But who knows, maybe the award-winning Ballan-Bonsembiante company doesn’t give the gift of also bringing Pogacar, the absolute dominator of this Giro d’Italia.
