RIVA DEL GARDA. Militants of the Centopercentoanimalisti Movement demonstrated today (18 May) in Riva del Garda against the anti-animal rights policy of President Maurizio Fugatti and his council, as was done at Verona Airport and at the Muse in Trento.
A banner in English reading: “Trentino: they kill bears, false naturalists! Shame! 100% animal rights activists”to “denounce the shame of Trentino at an international level”, as animal rights activists said in a note.
«Fugatti, despite being forced to allow the transfer of two bears, already condemned to death by him, does not retreat from the line so dear to his supporters, hunters, breeders and speculators: free animals are a nuisance, they hinder trade and dealings, therefore they must be eliminated , to the delight of the perpetrators, the hunters”, writes the Movement.
«While the Region flaunts ecological visions in its advertising, it is good for tourists to know what is really behind the posters and commercials with images of the Dolomites. Our exhortation is clear: everyone must know the true reality of Trentino”, conclude the animal rights activists.
