As expected, strong temporal they formed this afternoon in Piedmont. In particular, the phenomena are affecting the Cuneowhere one was formed supercell that is causing storms And hail small size. They fell 16mm of rain in Monterosso Grana, 15mm in San Damiano Macra, Marene, 13mm in Dronero, 11mm to Viola, 9mm in Saluzzo. The heavy rains flooded the surrounding countryside in just a few minutes.
But that’s not all: they also register two Funnel Clouds (or funnel cloud) in the area of Genola, Fossano and Savigliano. These are attempted tornadoes, in which the forming cone fails to reach the ground.
