They had met on social media a few years ago, then she arrived in Italy to live with him. Things were going well and the relationship seemed solid until he became abusive.
“I went to the emergency room six times because of the beatings I received,” she added in the complaint. According to what was alleged by her ex, he mistreated her partner by insulting her daily with harsh words, hitting her on numerous occasions, kicking and punching her and leaving clear marks all over her body, causing personal injuries on various occasions . The events occurred on December 3, 2022 and then on April 28, 2023. The woman had suffered head trauma and bruises to her face and skull. In September 2023 – according to what was hypothesized – the suspect forced the woman to have sexual intercourse against her will. «She was subjected to a system of physical and mental mistreatment causing suffering and deprivation, incompatible with normal living conditions», is the conclusion reached by the Prosecutor’s Office. These conducts were recorded between March 2022 and February 2024. The investigations that led to the identification of the woman were conducted by officers of the Latina Police Headquarters.
