The Municipality of Erice officially handed over the municipal sports facility “Campo Mokarta” to the company Trapani for Future SSDrepresented by the president Valerio Antonini. The mayor is present Daniela Toscanocouncilors and municipal councillors.
This step follows the stipulation of the agreement which was signed last November. The concessionaire will be responsible for completing the sports facility with a program of investments necessary to make the facility usable.
«Public administrations certainly cannot finance private initiatives – comments the mayor Daniela Toscano -, but they have the duty to create the best conditions to make private investments productive, thus promoting the economic and social progress of the territory. Our commitment is to work incessantly to ensure that every private initiative that respects the rules and contributes to common well-being can find a trusted ally and active supporter in the Municipality of Erice. We are convinced that only through close and constructive collaboration between the public and private sectors can lasting and sustainable progress be achieved, capable of improving the quality of life of all citizens. We are certain that the management of the Mokarta camp by the Trapani For Future SSDwill be focused on promoting the passion for football, on the possibility of offering local children the opportunity to play sports in a healthy environment, encouraging aggregation and inclusion, and on the overall valorisation of the territory”.
