Everything is ready for the second edition of the Trapani Film Festival.
A true celebration of cinema born from the collaboration between Italy and America. The festival, in fact, was born thanks to 3 Points Productions and the artistic directors Francesco Torre and Michael Carlo Allen.
Same place as last year but with many new features, films and guests.
The 2024 edition will take place from 20 to 23 June with the patronage and co-production of the Municipality of Trapani.
First ‘new entry’ on the 20th: a space at the Trapani OFF Film Festival dedicated to film productions promoted in high schools, universities and film academies.
«The aim of the festival – said the two artistic directors – is to become, over the course of the various editions, a meeting and discussion center between artists and producers on the national and international scene, a place where new collaborations can arise».
Doing the honors will be godmother Ester Pantano, face of the TV series “Màkari” and “I Leoni di Sicilia”.
Among the official guests Domenico Centamore, Raffaele Vannoli, Vincenzo Crivello, Orio Scaduto, Chiara Vinci, Alessio Piazza, Fabrizio Ferracane, Matranga & Minafò, Beatrice Fazi, Angela Curri, Michele La Ginestra.
The evenings will be presented by Sabina Braschi and Giordana Pieri.
Numerous film nominations were evaluated by directors, critics, artists and members of the Municipality of Trapani.
In a few days we will know the finalists competing in the categories: Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, Best Documentary over 30′ and Best Documentary under 30′. There will also be special prizes that the Municipality of Trapani will award to the most deserving artistic works.
During the event from 20 to 23 June, the competing films will be voted by a jury of industry technicians, directors, actors, journalists and critics. They are joined by Gianpiero Pumo, winner of the first edition of the TFF with the feature film “Ciurè”.
