Second meeting of the control room established for the improvement of the rail transport service in Basilicata
The second meeting of the control room established in recent months for the improvement of the railway transport service in the Basilicata region was held this morning at the Infrastructure and Mobility Department of the Basilicata Region.
The meeting, which took place in the presence of the councilor of the outgoing branch, Dina Sileo, of the general director Liliana Santoro, of the transport and infrastructure office of the regional department, of the representatives of RFI, Trenitalia, Anas and the municipality of Melfi, had as the subject of maintenance and improvement works on the railway network which will affect some sections in the Lucanian territory in the coming months. These are interventions planned within the Pnrr and for which alternative public transport plans are being prepared in order to guarantee the service to users.
New meetings with stakeholders are scheduled for next week to welcome the requests and start concerted and shared planning.
