L’AQUILA – The L’Aquila City Council today unanimously approved the redetermination of the amounts for rent and sharing fees by the assignees of Case and Map accommodation, who are required to make these payments.
The provision confirms, for rents, a distinction based on income brackets, up to 12 thousand euros. Once this threshold is exceeded, the rent will be calculated on the basis of territorial agreements, i.e. with values per square meter per year different based on the areas of the municipal territory and distinct for the Case Project and the Map.
Compared to the past, the sharing fee is differentiated (i.e. that for general and management expenses), which the regulation attached to the resolution approved today sets, on a monthly basis, at 60 cents per square meter for the apartments of the Case Project and at 30 cents per square meter for Maps.
“The primary need of the administration – it is written in the resolution approved today – is to adapt to the situations, which have now changed over time, and to harmonize, avoiding gaps and inequalities, the regulation of the fees payable by the assignees of the Case e of the Map temporary housing modules, also taking into account the different subjective situations”.
The Assembly also gave the green light to the modification of the municipal sports council, with the integration into the body of the territorial representative of the public company Sport e Salute Spa.
The agenda was also approved unanimously, signed by the councilor Simona Giannangeli (The Courageous Eagle) and the president of the third council commission, the councilor Fabio Frullo (UDC), concerning measures to protect the mental health of the community, with particular attention to the new generations and vulnerable segments of the population.
The document commits the active administration, among other things, to report on the actions and projects initiated and implemented or planned for the strengthening of the mental health department; to establish a permanent table at the Municipality with the participation of the Local Health Authority (Mental Health Center, Child Neuropsychiatry, Health District, Family Counseling Center) and mental health associations, to continuously and constantly address socio-health problems in all age groups of age; to start a dissemination and prevention program aimed at reducing pathological addictions and to stipulate a territorial pact between Healthcare, the Municipality, and the Third Sector on mental health, which allows for improving collaboration between mental health services and associations.
Finally, the Council gave the green light to some urban planning practices: a change of intended use from warehouse to hospitality and from artisanal to commercial in the historic centre, a direction for the issuing of a building permit in derogation for a partial demolition and reconstruction of a building also in the heart of the capital and a redevelopment of abandoned non-residential buildings with transformation into residential in the hamlet of San Vittorino.
