“We will laugh at the golden butterflies” is the book by the very young writer from L’Aquila Giorgia Vaccarelli which will be presented in L’Aquila on Saturday 18 May at 6.15pm at the Maccarrone bookshop in Piazzale Trony.
“A text rich in themes, profound, mature, dreamlike, ironic, brilliant. It is a text that makes you reflect, at times denouncing the cruelty of man and history. How was this possible? Maybe it’s just a bad dream? In other passages, mainly in the two comedies, the writing, the dialogues, become dreams, hopes, in what is a disruptive almost eternal youth. The author therefore moves in this wide range of themes-topics that cannot fail to belong to us”he writes Stefano Carnicelli in the book review by Giorgia Vaccarelli, student, theater enthusiast, multi-instrumentalist musician.
The meeting in L’Aquila was organized by the Association “The Upside Down Sky” and from the Maccarrone Bookshop. The graphic design is by the Studio Maria Alberti. The author’s texts have already been successfully staged in Rome. Stefano Carnicelli moderated the meeting, while the actors Barbara Bologna And Ugo Capezzali they will propose some passages from the texts, Mauro And Luca Vaccarelli they will take care of the musical moments.
What is the message that Giorgia wants to convey? “The future belongs to kids, to those who have the strength and courage to look beyond mediocrity and everyday ugliness. It is a challenge that must be taken up, fought with the weapons of the heart open to good, peace and hope.”
