MARTINSICURO. Six are going to trial for the beating of a businessman which took place in August last year in front of a nightclub in Martinsicuro: four with the ordinary trial, two with the abbreviated trial.
This is what the judge decided Roberto Veneziano at the end of the preliminary hearing which took place yesterday morning with the prosecutor in charge of the file Enrica Medori which confirmed for all (five Italians residing between Porto d’Ascoli, San Benedetto del Tronto and Alba Adriatica and one Pole) the charge of attempted murder in conspiracy. According to the version of the Public Prosecution, the man, a 40-year-old from San Benedetto del Tronto, was brutally attacked as punishment after some compliments made towards a dancer at the club.
The beating began first inside the premises and then continued in the external square with the victim hospitalized for days with a reserved prognosis as a result of the injuries caused by the violent attack which occurred with kicks and punches.
After the complaint, the investigations by the Carabinieri of the Martinsicuro station were immediately focused on the hearing of numerous eyewitnesses, on the acquisition and analysis of the videos from the premises’ video surveillance system and telephone traffic records, on the documentation medical care of the injured person. Carthusian investigations which in a short time allowed the military to identify the six, all already known to the police. Furthermore, during the investigations, in the land adjacent to the home of one of the arrested people, the military found a 12 gauge sawn-off shotgun with abraded serial number, two pistols, one of which with abraded serial number and a wrapper containing approximately 10 grams of cocaine. . Furthermore, during other searches, another ten grams of drugs and a series of bullets also turned up.
It’s about Piotr Dariusz Sielicki39 year old Polish resident in San Benedetto del Tronto; Vincenzo MarinoCalabrian resident in the Marche, 54 years old; Valerio Nobili39 years old, domiciled in Porto d’Ascoli; Giulio Del Mastro37 years old, domiciled in Alba Adriatica; Cristian Hotova33 years old, resident in San Benedetto del Tronto; Matthew Imeshtari, 22 years old, resident in San Benedetto del Tronto. Initially everyone had requested a conditional summary procedure; request which was opposed by the prosecutor. At the end of the preliminary hearing there was an abbreviated procedure for Hotova, conditional on an expert opinion, and for Nobili (dry abbreviation).
The others go to trial with the ordinary rite and with the first hearing set for July 5th. The two shortened ones will be discussed on July 10th.
