Viterbo – Young man stabbed in the back for failing to give way near the Carmine sports field, the trial of the attacker who could have killed him begins before judge Jacopo Rocchi.
The victim filed a civil action with the lawyer Lara Stefani, while the accused is assisted by Luigi Mancini.
This is a 37-year-old man from Viterbo who at the time was reported free for injuries but was not arrested in the act, as he fled immediately after the fact, and was tracked down shortly afterwards by the police, on the night between Friday 18th and Saturday December 19, 2020.
The motive, as mentioned, was a traffic issue.
The victim would not have given him the right of way and from there the argument would have resulted in the two stab wounds in the back of a young man of Viterbo origin, who lives in Frosinone, who got into the car to go independently to the emergency room in Belcolle, but was forced to stop at the intersection of the road that leads to the hospital with Cassia, from where he called the police.
The offended party had come to the capital for his mother’s funeral and his brothers were in the car with him when he was rescued by 118.

Presumption of innocence
In the Italian criminal system the presumption of innocence applies until the final sentence. Presumption of innocence which is based on article 27 of the Italian constitution according to which a person “is not considered guilty until finally convicted”.
