We read in the press release that the coach was punished “because, in the 50th minute of the second half, he approached the Fourth Official with an aggressive attitude and blatant and polemical dissent to contest an referee’s decision; upon notification of the expulsion order he reiterated this attitude by addressing also disrespectful expressions regarding the work of the match officials; infringement noted by the Fourth Official; after notification of the expulsion order and before leaving the playing area, he also made derisive gestures towards the match director”.
