PALERMO – “Two criminals to steal my daughter-in-law’s car in via Cartagine in Palermo, while she was taking my nephew to the hospital they almost killed her while she was holding the baby in her arms. I’m destroyed. I witnessed this scene.” Telling what happened is theartist Rino Martinez engaged in social work.

The woman had left the house to take the child to hospital. But she found the thieves who were stealing her car, a Lancia Y. The two young people inside the car, however, continued as if nothing had happened. Indeed, they accelerated with the 28-year-old’s Lancia Y, running over her and putting her at risk the safety of the woman and her child.
The research
The call for help was launched on social media. The searches began and perhaps the hunted thieves abandoned the vehicle which was found. “We are all in shock over what happened and in any case my daughter-in-law and my grandson are fine and will have checks to ascertain their state of health after having even risked their lives – says Rino Martinez -“.
“I also thank everyone: who moved in time to resolve this unworthy act because it is accompanied by an act of violence towards a woman and her 4 year old child – concludes the artist -. We are happy for the positive outcome but I think we will denounce these two criminals who have demonstrated a total lack of humanity.”
