MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The new DS Automobiles campaign pays homage to Antoine De Saint-Exupêry, a true ambassador of the art of French travel. The 2024 collection is the result of a rich collaboration with a symbol of French history. A man who was at the same time a poet and traveller, writer and hero. Offered on the DS 3, DS 4 and DS 7 models, the collection aims to pay homage to him on the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of his passing. Each model is available in a special “Night Flight” color. This pearly paint is composed of pigments that create delicate golden reflections, like a starry sky at dawn. The atmosphere inside brings to life the language of the aviators of the first half of the 20th century, with a warm and resistant Criollo brown nappa leather, an expression of truly unique expertise and the use of the noblest materials, so dear to DS Automobiles . The leather upholstery is accompanied by a brand new embroidery technique on the dashboard upholstery to evoke the trail of an airplane. Various internal and external badges, as well as the logos on the door sills, complete the exclusive stylistic signature of the collection. The first model in the range, the DS 3 Antoine de Saint-Exupêry, features a quote from “The Little Prince”: the door sills feature the quote “For those who travel, the stars are guides”, as well as a drawing of the author. For all-round comfort, it is equipped with Opera interiors in Criollo brown nappa leather with special coverings for the dashboard and door interiors. The satin stitching draws the lines of a shooting star and the iconic point-pearl stitching is Terre de Cassel colour. The refinement of the interior is emphasized by the leather covering of the airbags. On the outside, the Antoine de Saint-Exupery models are distinguished by the elegant badges on the front doors and the wheel covers in the “Night Flight” color on the 18-inch Nice wheels. The equipment is completed by keyless entry & start, heated seats and navigator connected with DS Iris System and ChatGPT. A multi-propulsion model, the DS 3 Antoine de Saint-Exupery is available in the 100% electric E-Tense, hybrid, PureTech 130 petrol and BlueHDi 130 diesel versions. Three colors with black roof are available: Night Flight, Crystal Gray and Pearl Black. Adventurous and dynamic, the DS 4 Antoine de Saint-Exupery takes a quote from “Corriere del Sud”, the first book published by the author. With its Criollo Opera brown leather interior, embellished with exclusive finishes, the DS 4 Antoine de Saint-Exupery demonstrates the best of DS Automobiles’ expertise. On the dashboard, the leather is finished with double Criollo and Terre de Cassel stitching. Terre de Cassel stitching embellishes the internal door linings. The front seats are heated, massaging and cooling. As with the rest of the range, there is an “Antoine de Saint-Exupery” badge on the dashboard. The quote “The stars determine the real distances for us” and the drawing of an airplane are shown on the front door sill plates. With their diamond cut, the 19-inch Siviglia rims adopt new wheel covers in the “Volo di notte” color. The DS 4 offers four engines and three colors with a black roof: Night Flight, Crystal Grey, Black Pearl. DS 7 Antoine de Saint-Exupery reports a quote from “The Wisdom of the Sands”, a collection of reflections on the human condition, posthumous to the author. For maximum comfort of its occupants, it features the new Opera Marrone Criollo interior. The nappa leather is accompanied by Tramontana embroidery and Terre de Cassel point-pearl stitching. An “Antoine de Saint-Exupery” badge finishes the dashboard and adds to the quote “It is the path of dialogue between the stars and us”, together with the stars sketched on the door sills of the front doors. Other stitching and the Brown Criollo armrests give a further touch of elegance. The steering wheel is entirely covered in Basalto leather, including the airbag cover. The front seats are heated, massaging and cooling. The sound-absorbing crystals guarantee maximum comfort. Externally, a new Antoine de Saint-Exupery badge on the doors and a new wheel cover in the same color as Night Flight underline the exclusivity of this Collection. The 21-inch New York wheels were also expressly designed for the DS 7 plug-in hybrid 4×4 360. The DS 7 Antoine de Saint-Exupery is available with plug-in hybrid engines of 360, 300 and 225 HP and with the BlueHDi 130 Diesel engine.
