En.AIP Piemonte ETS – Generation Cooperation: Enaip also participates with workshops on the themes of the 2030 Agenda

The Enaip offices of Alessandria, Borgomanero, Cuneo, Domodossola and Omegna were also present at the final event of “Generation Cooperation: let’s put it on the Agenda”, which was held this morning at the Cinema Museum in Turin.

This is a project education for global citizenship and sustainable development promoted by Focsiv, in partnership with 24 civil society organizations and networks at national and local level including ASvis and the Consortium of Piedmontese NGOs (COP), with which 6 member organizations collaborate, including us at Enaip Piemonte.

The regional event organized on the occasion of the conclusion of the project was the opportunity to present all the workshop activities of youth activism created by the classes of 12 secondary schools from all over Piedmont.

The classes of Enaip Cuneo addressed the issue of gender diversity and equal opportunitiesanalyzing, through the game “Who’s she?”, some of the female figures who have changed the world and reflecting on the role of women.
The headquarters of Alexandriainstead, together with the students of the cooking class, investigated the topic of sustainability of food spendinganalyzing the origin of some foodstuffs (coffee, rice, tomato) to understand which trade and production policies regulate their cultivation and sale.
Starting from these aspects, the centers of Domodossola and Omegna they explored the topic of fair tradebut then focusing on the stories hidden behind the raw materials of smartphones, drawing parallels between the journey of resources and that of human beings.
Enaip Borgomanero created the role-playing game “Move move”, in which players compete on the themes of organic agriculture, sustainable mobility, responsible use of resources, cooperation.

«It was a very interesting event: all the products and presentations made by our students are of a high level and of great professionalism – says Francesca Costero, Head of the International Cooperation sector of Enaip Piemonte – It also stands out a lot the passion and interest that both teachers and students have put into this type of activityso much so as to involve even more people than initially and to ask to be involved again in initiatives of this kind, which they have contributed to increasing sensitivity and critical sense in our students regarding the topics covered
