The curved Desmo has already been all in red for some time. To the point that, for the 2024 edition, it was decided to double the Ducati Grandstand which in fact considers Mugello its living room. Therefore, further places dedicated to the Rosse people have been added to the structure set up – as every year – at the Correntaio curve. Thus the Ducati fans will experience strong emotions and sensations even in a reserved sector of the Bronze Central Grandstand, right above the straight of the Tuscan circuit near the pits. From red (Ducati factory of Pecco and Bastianini) to yellow (Ducati Vr46) which identifies the stands and sectors of lawn ‘occupied’ by fans of Bezzecchi and Di Giannantonio. The yellow of the Bez, moreover, will help to relive in some way the stains with which Mugello has always told the story of Valentino Rossi’s thousand GPs. Bez and Vale, united in the team and in that yellow that the Pertamina team will aim to bring to the podium with the pride of those who know that doing well at Mugello still has a different specific weight than any other race. And then… here’s Marquez. Who for the first time in its history arrives at Mugello as (almost) master of the house. He is riding a Ducati and wants to win under the flag of the Gresini team. Never seen a Marquez so… Italian at the Italian GP. And this is absolutely a story to be lived and told. In short, there will also be a little piece of Spain, the one he dreams of together with Marc, cheering for Ducati. The colour, obviously, is the light blue of “Gresini” and it will certainly have a strange effect to see in those parts, among those fans who were previously divided or engaged in a derby without half measures (Italians and Spanish), seeing them – as we were saying – united with push that number 93 which until last year had the color orange (Honda) on its outlines. All the Ducati shades – from red to light blue, passing through yellow – but also the Aprilia curve has marked a presale for ambitious days. Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales brought the Spanish heart to Italy and they know they can do well at Mugello. The target? Beating the ‘cousins’ of Borgo Panigale. And doing it at Mugello would certainly be the most exciting opportunity.
