Ancona16 May 2024 – Postal workers protest against the privatization of the group: on Saturday 18 May, from 10.00 to 13.00, there will be a protest in Ancona, in Piazza del Plebiscito, in front of the Prefecture headquarters.
The initiative is promoted by Slc Cgil, Slp Cisl, Uil poste, Confsal, Failp Cisale and Fnc Ugl.
Workers and unions are protesting against the further privatization of the Post Office which is selling off another strategic resource of the country to the detriment of accessibility and quality of services, savings and employment.
The demonstration in front of the headquarters of the Prefecture of Ancona will be an opportunity to express opposition to this decision by the company.
The union asks the institutions to listen to the voices of workers and citizens to put an end to any attempt to further privatize the Italian Post Office.
