On the occasion of the International Family Day proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly and in view of the First Family Festival, organized for next weekend at the Citadel Park, the municipal administration – Family Department – reminds citizens of the concrete actions taken in the field or soon to be implemented to support Dorian families.
These are the initiatives:
1. establishment of a family desk: with the registration of the Municipality of Ancona in the national network “Municipalities friends of the family” which promotes innovative policies in favor of the family, a family desk will soon be established in order to provide citizens with information regarding services offered to families by the municipal administration;
2. contributions for families (for the first time assigned with the Municipality’s own resources) to support families in social and economic difficulty:
a) provision of contributions to support the payment of household utilities for families in difficulty (announcement, published in April, for which over a thousand applications were received; the ranking is being drawn up);
b) provision of rental contributions (announcement pending approval) for families in difficulty in paying the rent;
c) provision of contributions for the waste tax (TARI) to support families who have university children away from home and who have to bear the burden of double payment (announcement pending approval);
3. preparation of a special notice for the assignment of public residential houses for young people under 35 (tender currently being drawn up).
Prompt communication will be given of the various initiatives. Meanwhile, the meetings as part of the Family Festival are starting:
Today, Thursday 16 May at 4.00 pm Council Room of the Municipality of Ancona “Family friendly support in businesses” promoted by the Forum of family associations, with ANCI Marche and Confindustria Marche to bring the tender “Guidelines for support for the creation of of family friendly interventions in businesses”.
The intent is to promote the conciliation between family and work, one of the most complex issues on the social level and of female emancipation.
Tomorrow, Friday 17 May at 5.00pm Liceo Rinaldini – conference on “Adolescence and the future” training seminar aimed at parents and educators. The meeting will be led by Dr. Roberta Cesaroni, adolescent life mental coach and communication and behavior expert. The organization is by the Omnia Locis mps Association (memories, projects, services), which has already organized initiatives on this theme in the region, aimed at parents and educators.
