“I risked dying, now I’m fine.” The shocking, because unexpected, story is from Ylber Ramadanimidfielder of Lecce and the Albanian national team. It all started from something that was initially mistaken for pharyngitis. Then, for ten days, Ramadani was ill, to the point of describing it like this: «I was really ill. I risked dying, now I’m fine and I really have to thank the president, the directors Corvino and Trinchera, the coach and the whole club. I was really sick, there was great concern but now I’m back, I’m fine and I’m happy to have done it, celebrating my salvation.”
Ramadani (to Dazn) talks about the worry of days that are anything but simple. And the closeness of Lecce, of the entire club: «For ten days everyone looked at me as if I were a child, as if I were everyone’s son, the president, the directors or the coach. It was like having a family around me.”
