If the Northern Italy continues to be in the midst of bad weather, with strong thunderstorms and storms, the south is preparing for a new heat wave directly from North Africa. The first effects can already be seen: this morning many cars suffered the consequences of a real sandstorm. The phenomenon, which recurs with a certain periodicity, occurred mainly in the southern regions such as (Puglia, Campania, Basilicata and Sicily) and is due to the movement of sand in large quantities from the Sahara desert, following gusts of wind important.
The skies, consequently, will not be clear, due to the presence of dust that often settles through precipitation. Italy is therefore divided in two: weather warnings for storms in the north and from Rome downwards, summer temperatures with peaks above 30 degrees. A slight worsening is expected at the beginning of the weekend, with rain, showers and moderate winds in Puglia. After a slight rise in temperatures, on Sunday we will return to spring weather, rather than summer.
