The Court of Review of Catanzaro has issued a significant decision, canceling the seizure of one million euros against the entrepreneur Enrico Dandolo, accused of various crimes including criminal association, aggravated fraud to obtain public funds and undue compensation. According to the prosecutor’s accusation, Dandolo took part in an illicit association dedicated to the creation of false tax credits, for a value exceeding 3.5 million euros, subsequently converted into cash through the sale to third parties, aiming to approach unsuspecting entrepreneurs.
In essence, the accused, together with another entrepreneur and an accountant, would have issued invoices for non-existent operations in order to obtain tax credits linked to alleged sanitisation and adaptation operations of commercial premises in response to the pandemic emergency. However, according to investigations, these interventions were never actually carried out. This intricate fraudulent scheme would not only have deceived the tax authorities, but would also have made huge profits at the expense of the unfortunate ones, thus contributing to fueling an environment of dishonesty and injustice.
