During the press conference held this morning at the RivieraBanca headquarters, the president of Rinascita Basket Rimini, Paolo Maggioli, and the CEO, Paolo Carasso, announced the confirmation and two-year renewal for coach Sandro Dell’Agnello .
The coach from Livorno sat on the Romagna bench last November when RBR was at the bottom of the A2 table.
His hand in the team’s growth was so noticeable that between the end of the regular season and the clock phase, Rimini won 13 of the last 15 matches.
Then the playoff quarter-final series with Rieti marked the end of the red and whites’ season.

“I felt involved in this adventure right from the start. This is thanks to the closeness of all the members of the company, in particular Carasso, Turci and president Maggioli.
I see a desire for gradual growth that makes me want to dream. It seems a bit like the path that Trento took a few years ago: it was in Serie B, then it got to play in two championship finals. Here it seems to me that there is passion, but above all the right people to be able to do it. Obviously not today or even tomorrow, but it will take time.”
