As part of the industrial development and promotion strategies of “Made in Italy”, the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (MIMIT) hosted the President of the Molise Region, Francesco Robertito discuss with the Minister Adolfo Urso on the dynamics of the industrial policy of the territory, with a particular focus on the project of Termoli Gigafactorywhich will be carried out byAutomotive Cells Company (ACC).
The Termoli Gigafactory, which will see the creation of high-performance and sustainable batteries for electric vehicles, represents a unique opportunity for Molise. In addition to contributing to the transition towards sustainable mobility, this project is expected to generate significant economic and social benefits for the region, through the creation of new jobs and the attraction of investments.
During the meeting, various aspects related to the timing and implementation of the Gigafactory were addressed, highlighting the importance of ensuring effective support from the competent institutions and authorities. The dialogue between the national government and the regional institutions was based on collaboration and the sharing of common objectives, aimed at promoting the industrial development of Molise and enhancing its production potential.
Roberti specified that important innovations are expected in the short term, which will contribute to outlining the industrial future of the Stellantis plant in Termoli.
