Most had already been done, even very well, in these 9 fantastic months of riding. Carpi had to settle for a draw on the day of the Serie C celebration. Their debut in the Poule championship ended 1-1 with Pianese, a historic day for the red and white club, which ended 9 years after the unforgettable 28 April 2015 ( when the Immortals celebrated the A) with another awards ceremony on the “Cabassi” lawn. Not even the unfortunate match day (4pm on a working Wednesday) and the pouring rain ruined a special day, in which Serpini’s team full of second lines (10 new players out of 11 compared to the 5-1 against Certaldo) ‘he gave it his all to win, but suffered a lucky day for Tuscan goalkeeper Iurino. A draw that will now force the red and whites to win on Sunday in Campobasso to qualify for the semi-final. The match is good because the two teams have a clear head, Pianese immediately calls Lorenzi to work with Miccoli’s right hand, then Falconi comes close to making it seven with a looping right hand.
