L’International Organization for Animal Protection (Oipa) is ready to relocate the four cattle that wander into the territory of Refrancore, in the province of Asti, to save them from death.

«From the information we have, it would appear that the Municipality and the Local Health Authority are taking action to capture it with the consequent risk of culling», he declares Cristina Destro. «Without prejudice to the intervention activities to identify the owner and provide for the application of the measures provided for by law, including the measure of seizure/confiscation of the animals, in order to protect them, the Oipa section of Alessandria is available to transport them to two suitable shelters that have made themselves available to welcome them”.
L’Oipa specifies that the Protocol of Ministry of Health concerning the discovery of stray cattle establishes the procedure to be followed, providing for the possibility of transfer to animal protection bodies or associations.
The association is now waiting for a response from the Municipality and the ASL to give a happy ending to the story and a peaceful life to Refrancore’s four cattle.
