A2 F Play-Off – Udine and Alpo win away and reach the final

The two matches valid for the semi-finals of the second play-off table took place at the same time.

W.APU Delser Crich Udine conquers the Logiman Broni parquet in Game-2 and qualifies for the final. The guests started more decisively and immediately built a score of 2-8 with which they imposed their own pace of play, subsequently the Pavia team won and successfully converted five shots with the clock stopped, almost completely closing the gap with their rivals; the Friulians push on the accelerator to take a full possession advantage, but the last word goes to Broni who closes the first quarter with a jumper at 9-12. Udine opens the second period with the +5 jumper canceled out by a 5-0 home break that puts the score on equal footing, the guests don’t give up and take the lead again, but Logiman tears the net from behind the arc twice consecutive taking the lead to 20-16; the home team’s joy lasts only a few minutes, as W.APU Delser Crich sets the tone with six points in a row, finally Broni supports the 22-22 with which we go to the interval. The 6-0 with which the Pavia team began the third quarter became a sort of nightmare for the Friulians, who partially stopped the bleeding before conceding two more points with the clock stopped; Udine manages to get back to -3 90″ from the half hour mark, however Logiman scores five points in a row and only a basket at the siren helps the guests make it 35-29 after 30′ of play. W.APU Delser Crich tries in every way to overcome the deficit, however the Lombards get the hint and cancel out their rivals’ baskets without hesitation, maintaining a two possession gap from them; a triple and a three-point play by the guests open a 0-10 partial with which they overturn the score, Broni tries to put the match back on its tracks by winning shots from the line, but this time it is Udine who obtains a two-possession advantage over their opponents (42-47). Logiman closes the distance again with the clock stopped, however in the final 90″ the Friulians are careful not to lose control and despite the final support of the Pavia team, they win with a score of 48-51. The performances of Coser (20 points and 5 rebounds), Ianezic (9 points) and Moroni (8 points and 8 rebounds) did not allow Broni to force Game 3; W.APU Delser Crich instead was led by the tandem of Katshitshi (16 points, 16 rebounds and 4 steals) and Milani (16 points).

Ecodem Alpo beats ARAN Cucine Panthers Roseto 62-68 in Game 2 and reaches the final. The back and forth at the start pushes the hosts towards a 9-3 partial with which they appear ready to lead the contest, but the Venetians score a break of 0-6 which completely turns the score in their favor (11-12 ); Roseto and Alpo know each other by heart, both struggle to find the key to the problem in the second half of the first quarter, then the ‘panthers’ decide to rain a series of triples (partial score of 11-3) useful to close ahead 24-17 after 10′ of play. The intensity lowers and this allows Ecodem to close the gap to just one possession from their rivals, who however don’t think twice about signing a 7-2 partial to escape to +8 less than 5′ from the break ; the guests, with some photocopied actions, return to -3, this does not scare the ARAN Cucine Panthers who with a mini-break close the first half of the game at 37-30. Alpo tries to start again on the right foot, but Roseto makes every attempt in vain, even climbing to +10 after 180 seconds of recovery; subsequently, the lights go out for the Abruzzo team and they fall victim to the partial score of 1-15 with which Ecodem sets the tone and closes the half hour ahead 45-49. The guests reach +17 before returning to concede a basket from the hosts who only shake themselves from the charity line; in the minutes that followed, the ‘panthers’ were unable to take control of the game and were forced to respond in kind to the Venetians’ raids, until the triple of 57-62 with 150 seconds to go lit up a new light. Scoring the +8 basket from behind the arc, Alpo keeps the home attack at bay; the shots with the clock stopped reign supreme for what remains of the match, then the guests support the new +8 and the ARAN Cucine Panthers puts the final seal on 62-68. The performances of Miccio (17 points), Sorrentino (14 points), Obouh Fegue (10 points and 13 rebounds), Cecili (8 points and 4 steals) and Aispurua (7 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals) were not needed in Roseto. ; while the ones who gave Ecodem Alpo the final were Frustaci (15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals), Moriconi (14 points), Soglia (12 points and 8 rebounds), Turel (11 points and 5 rebounds), Parmesani (7 points, 11 rebounds and 2 steals) and Nori (6 points and 7 rebounds).
