Municipality of Corigliano Rossano: kennel operators competition

The Municipality of Corigliano Rossano, in the province of Cosenza, has announced a competition for kennel operators – area for expert operators.

WHAT DOES THE KENNEL OPERATOR DO

The kennel operator hired at the competition of the Municipality of Corigliano Rossano (Calabria) is responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• maintenance and protection health and hygiene of the spaces;
• washing and drying dogs with special equipment;
• administration of meals to the animals present;
• administration of medicines prescribed by the veterinary doctor;
• procedure for welcoming, inserting and adopting dogs;
• collaboration with health managers;
• informative relationships with visitors and voluntary associations.

REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED

Candidates in possession of the general requirements for access to public competitions can participate in the competition of the Municipality of Corigliano Rossano for kennel operators, namely:

• Italian citizenship, or other category indicated in the announcement;
• age not less than 18 years old and not exceeding that established as the maximum limit by the regulations in force for retirement;
• psycho-physical fitness;
• have not had criminal convictions or have ongoing criminal proceedings that prevent employment in a Public Administration;
• not have been dismissed or dismissed or dismissed from employment in a Public Administration;
• physical suitability for employment;
• enjoyment of civil and political rights;
• for male competitors born before 12/31/1985: be in regular position with regards to military service obligations;
• not have been excluded from the active political electorate;
• not having reported disciplinary sanctions resulting in suspension from service in the last 2 years.

Candidates for the competition are also required to: possession of the following specific requirements:

• driving license B;
• fulfillment of compulsory education and specific professional qualification or alternatively fulfillment of compulsory education combined with a declaration showing proven experience of at least 6 months in a similar role.

HOW THE SELECTION IS CARRIED OUT

If the number of applications received is greater than 80, one will be processed preselection.

Subsequently the candidates will be selected on the basis of two examsone written and one oral.

The written test will consist of writing a paper or 5 open or multiple choice questions.

The oral test will focus on the same subjects as the written test, and will aim to verify the candidate’s aptitude to carry out the tasks relating to the profile covered by the competition.

This public selection complies with the new rules set out in the public competition regulations.
