The footballer is looking for a more ambitious club. The most concrete contacts are with Napoli, who want to find Victor Osimhen’s successor, closer to the Premier League than PSG currently. But before thinking about his future, Mateta still has one goal in mind: qualifying for the European Championships with France.
Mateta is 26 years old and is Crystal Palace’s top scorer this season, with 13 goals scored (10 in 12 days since Glasner took over). The 26-year-old has gone, in just over a year, from being a player almost out of the squad, to a fundamental element for the team.
Dovbyk from Girona is untransferable, the Azzurri wanted him to replace Osimhen
Artem Dovbyk was the revelation of La Liga: purchased from Dnipro for around 8 million, at Girona he now has 20 goals in the league and is the top scorer. Napoli have been monitoring him for a few weeks as a replacement for Victor Osimhen, Juventus are also interested in the Ukrainian center forward. However, Girona have notified his entourage, Aleksey Lyundovskiy, that they consider him untransferable.

Dovbyk’s season did not go unnoticed by the big teams in Europe. Napoli and Juventus are keeping an eye on the attacker for the next transfer window. Lyundovskiy has informed the Girona managers of the offers he has received so far, but Girona considers Artem Dovbyk untransferable and would like him to remain at the Catalan club for another season. The Ukrainian has a contract until June 2028.
