After the violence comes the swift condemnation and expulsion. The state police, on Monday afternoon, immediately after the sentenced to one year in prison following the immediate trial held in the Court of Comoaccompanied the 34-year-old Nigerian arrested yesterday for resistance and violence against a public official and personal injury to the CPR in Gradisca d’Isonzo (GO).
The man was then notified of the Police Commissioner’s Order, issued by the Commissioner of Como Marco Calì and the expulsion of the Prefect, being illegal on the territory of the state, with a police record for crimes against the person and without a stable home.
The arrest occurred following the intervention of the police officers at the Valduce car park in Via Dante which involved the Nigerian, already known for having repeatedly harassed users of the car park. The reports indicated a man of African ethnicity who was bivouacking in the area of the automatic cash registers and in the bathrooms, heavily annoying users, especially women. Reports and complaints regarding the same subject had come from users of the Val Mulini car park in the old S. Anna area.
In some complaints, citizens expressed concern when the man attracted by the situation favorable to him – generally when the user found himself alone at the checkout – heavily bothered people, sometimes even following them.
However, no reports of crimes committed in this context have been recorded. The commitment of the State Police in controlling the territory continues incessantly, aimed at guaranteeing the legality and safety of citizens. On Monday evening, in fact, the squad cars in service were joined by some crews from the Lombardy Crime Prevention Department in Milan with which numerous checkpoints were carried out in the city and 41 vehicles and 63 people were checked, 13 of whom had criminal or police records.
