Bad surprise for the operators of the Zarapoti Social Cooperative of Catanzaro due to the action of unknown persons who damaged the camper in use for the street prevention unit service for pathological addictions. On the vehicle, parked in the area in front of the Cooperative’s headquarters, the closure of the passenger side door was torn off and the rear, right and left side windows were shattered.
Furthermore, a Bluetooth speaker, cushions and table furnishings, a 21-inch television, a power inverter, a chemical tank and the vehicle’s registration and ownership certificate were stolen from inside.
“We have filed a complaint at the police station against unknown persons – states the president of the Catanzaro cooperative, Ampelio Anfosso – but what happened leaves us with a certain bitterness, especially for having been forced into a two-day forced stop. Thanks to the Street Unit Service we are constantly in the area, to be close to citizens, young and old, to combat the phenomenon of pathological addictions but also situations of other hardship”.
“What happened – adds Anfosso – suggests a lack of respect towards those who work for the well-being and support of others.”
