The new edition of Faenza Rock is back, the thirty-ninth, born in Rione Verde in 1986 together with Arci di Faenza on the idea of Giordano Sangiorgi with Danilo Pittola and Fabio Mongardi. An event that graduated a very large group of musicians who then established themselves on a national level.
Last year, Fratelli & Margherita won and recorded a song with the folk rock singer-songwriter Cisco at Gianluca Lopresti’s Lotostudio and are now on tour. The project is part of the musical programming in agreement with the Municipality of Faenza which includes the next MEI – Meeting of Independent Labels from 4 to 6 October, the traditional appointment with the Ferragosto under the Stars with the Trio Italiano now in its thirtieth year together with the New Year’s toast with Liscio Made in Faenza.
Registrations are therefore open for the new edition, open to all artists, bands, songwriters, singers, rappers, musicians and artists of every genre and style, pop. Rock, rap, trap, urban, folk, world, jazz, blues, electronic and any other style and in any formation offering their own and original songs, this is the unique characteristic of the event.

Here are the events where some artists awarded and promoted by the Faenza Rock circuit will perform:
After the great success of the first edition on New Year’s Eve, the new edition of the Literary, Musical and Theatrical Marathon which will be held on Thursday 16 May at 5pm, a Civil Oration one year after the tragedy Double Flood of Faenzawith readings and music from over 30 writers, authors, songwriters and video makers.
Starting from 5.30 pm after an opening with an extraordinary video testimony by Ceff with a song by the singer-songwriter Mariasole Chiari, it opens with the psychotherapist Chiara Guardigli, and then continues with the accordion of Alvio Focaccia and the Coro dei Canterini Romagnoli, the singer-songwriter Claudio Toschi, the experimenters Aga and Michele Fontana, the singer-songwriter Martino Chieffo, the young singer-songwriter from Faenza Isabella, winner of the Award dedicated to Lucio Dalla as Young Emergent, among others.
Great final party at the Piccadilly Club in Faenza on 17 and 18 May with a double evening which will see the emerging bands Chief Kids, Ancora da Nominare and others from the Timeless School Contest organized by Giacomo Cascone with the Jumpin Jacks and the victory party on The Voice Senior by John Calzolari and Sonia Davis and many others. On May 18th the artists produced by Clayc will perform, who will be awarded as a young emerging producer from Faenza by Faenza Rock, who are Dixa, Betta, Mattu and Bricchi, Posa and others who represent the new Faenza music scene, which will then be followed live Loyal with The G5 Project and Youtha.
We then continue on 3 and 4 June with the Santa Balera minifestival at the Rione Verde for the Palio Week with Alluvionati del Liscio, Fratelli & Margherita and Emisurela, three of the best expressions of the new Faenza folk, smooth and world scene for two evenings dedicated to 30 years of Emergency and 80 years of Anpi.
We then move on to the Club Monte Brullo on 5 June with the Homage to Lucio Dalla with the singer-songwriter Milena Mingotti accompanied by Marcello Romeo which will precede the meeting with the journalist and writer Marino Bartoletti while on 12 June Carlo Marrale and Silvia Mezzanotte will tell in music the 40 years of history of Matia Bazar’s music with the opening of some young emerging artists, while on July 10th again in Monte Brullo great party with the Romagna artists finalists of The Voice Senior with a unique evening with John Calzolari, Sonia Davis, Roberta Cappelletti and Vittorio Bonetti. At the Brisighella Oasis some cornerstones of Made in Faenza music will perform live, such as the Trio Italiano on 29 June, the Alluvionati del Liscio on 12 July and Cristian Cicci Bagnoli Quartet, the rock superstar from Castel Bolognese who exploded this winter with the his incredible super rock quartet.
Opening with emerging and youth bands. Other events include the Concert 19734-2024 for the Parish of San Francesco in the Parco di San Francesco on Sunday 6 October at 6pm with the group made up of Gaetano Barbarito, Bruno Ponti, Roberto Tassinari, Pasquale Di Camillo and Mauro Guidi who will celebrate the first live concert held in San Francesco fifty years ago and which gave birth to a new scene of bands, artists and music promoters.
The Faenza Rock special Summer selections will be held in collaboration with Piccadilly, during the Zibaldone Mondays in Via Cavour on 15 and 22 July with a performance by the winner on 29 July. Finally, the winner of Faenza Rock Fratelli & Margherita will perform on August 24th at the new edition of Non Mollo.
