In this weekend which saw the great results of the Italian Parakarate led by Master Luca Nicosanti who triumphed at the European Championship with the bronze of Valerio Di Cocco and the 5th place of Daniele Alfonsi, other really interesting results arrived. Sara Leoni, novice karate athlete from the Toukon Karate-do club, triumphed at the Regional Championship on Sunday 12 May, gaining access to the final of the Italian Championship which will be held in a few days at the Fijlkam Olympic Center in Ostia.
With the final match won 8-0, Sara was one of the surprises of this edition of the regional championship, demonstrating great determination and talent in overcoming her opponents, under the guidance of the technical instructor, coach Paolo Anusca and everything the team of Toukon instructors who take care of his training on a daily basis. The final of the Italian Championship will be an important challenge for Sara, who will find herself competing with the other best athletes in the country. Toukon karate-do is proud of this loot achieved by Leoni especially in consideration of the Regulations which provide for a single test to win the title. Good luck to Sara as she will take part in other competitions together with her other teammates before the final.
