The Meda nursery school in Rho visits the Carabinieri barracks

In the past few days, approximately 90 children between 3 and 6 years old from the “Filippo Meda” nursery school in Rho they visited the Carabinieri barracks, coming into contact with the state institutions for the first time. Here they were received by Group Commander, Colonel Gennaro Cassese, by the Commander of the Company, Major Daniela Nuzzo and by the Commander of the Station, Lieutenant of Special Charge Luigi Pino, as well as by the members of three specialized departments of the Carabinieri, very close to the children’s imagination, i.e. by personnel of the local Radiomobile Section of Rho , of the Dog Carabinieri of Casatenovo (LC) and of the Horse Carabinieri Unit of Monza and Brianza (MB).

Much to their amazement the children were able to “inspect” the Carabinieri gazelles, engaged in the daily “emergency response” service, also having the opportunity to activate the sirens and turn on the flashing lights as in real emergency situations, as well as to pet and closely observe two horses and two police dogs, which are used in the services daily of public order and crime prevention and repression, attending real simulations of operational use as well as acquiring information and curiosities about the methods of selection and training of these precious allies of the Carabinieri.

The visit, which is part of the activities conducted at a local level by Provincial Carabinieri Command of Milanaimed at raising students’ awareness on issues of legality, ended with the many questions that the students wanted to ask the Carabinieri who guided them during the visit.
