On the morning of Friday 7 June ad Aprilia in the area of Via England the Carabinieri and the State Police carried out a joint action aimed at countering the activity of dealing in the neighborhood.
The policemen of the Cisterna di Latina police station and the personnel of the Carabinieri Territorial Department of Aprilia at the end of the operation two subjects arrested, both multiple offenders, and a third reported, for possession and trafficking of narcotic substances.
The police activity arose following various reports that indicated the area of Via England in Aprilia aas possible drug dealing square. The command center would have been located inside one of the buildings used as public housing managed by the Municipality of Rome.
Inside the building the apartment, reported as a possible basis for criminal activity, had been busy abusively.
The occupants had barricaded themselves inside the apartment, placing a barrier to protect the entrance iron grate. They also had it installed a series of surveillance cameras to film both the entrance of the apartment and the street near the entrance to the building. In this way they kept all access under control.
The investigations, carried out through stakeouts, services observation and seizures of drugs from consumers, they have allowed investigators to identify some of the subjects presumably involved in the management of the drug dealing activity in the popular Aprilia neighborhood.

This morning Police and Carabinieri, with the help ofilio of a canine unit of the PStat. oilor, they went to Aprilia’s occupied apartment and they carried out local and personal searches.
The entrance to the apartment proved to be parparticularly difficult due to the barrier with iron grates of the entrance door. However, the search confirmed the suspicions. TOon top of one of the subjects searchedlookout post outside the building, in fact, 0.7 grams of crack-cocaine type narcotic substance were found.
There search of the apartment hto Instead allowed to be found money mattersnt for a total of 7,695 euros in banknotes of various denominations. The banknotes had been hidden under a mattress. Material was also found of various types, presumably used for drug packaging, including a precision scale and numerous sachets.
The staff also found 102 grams of narcotic substance of the crack-cocaine type and 31.5 grams of Hashish. Inside the apartment there was also an active video surveillance system consisting of 8 cameras.
At the end of the whole operation, the police have two subjects arrested for drug traffickingpefactors and reported a third party to the judicial authorities.
The apartment, subject to illegal occupation, was returned to the heritage enhancement and housing policies department of Rome Capital. This will take care of the procedures for regular reassignment of the property.
The activity received the applause from area residentswho thanked the staff who interveneduto for the brilliant operation.
