The Masterclass organized by the Strait Youth Orchestra “V.” ended brilliantly. Leotta” in Reggio Calabria, held by Maestro Angelo Lalla, held on 11 and 12 May in Reggio Calabria.
The masterclass saw the enthusiastic participation of over 40 OGS kids, protagonists of a unique moment, linked to the deepening and perfecting of the study of music.
“We share with Maestro Lalla the idea of music and social integration as essential and complementary elements, fundamental in the growth path of our children” says the president of the Strait Youth Orchestra, Carmelo Palmisano.
“The initiative is part of the activities planned for the 2023/2024 season by the Orchestra – explains the artistic director, Maestro Alessandro Monorchio – “the aim is to offer our young people training opportunities in our city, with teachers of great depth and experience who can offer other artistic and musical points of view”.
Maestro Angelo Lalla graduated in 2020 in orchestral conducting at the “A. Casella” in L’Aquila with Maestro Marcello Bufalini. He has organized and directed several wind, string and symphonic ensembles both in Italy and abroad, such as in Slovakia, Vienna and in various cities in France. He is currently Director of the APS Young Orchestra and Director of the “PicenOrchestra” Youth Orchestra of Spinetoli (AP), as well as Assistant Director of the Young Section of the “System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs in Italy”.
