Venice Film Festival, Sveva Alviti will be the godmother of the 81st edition

The actress will open the show on Wednesday 28 August and will close it with the awards ceremony on 7 September

Sveva Alviti will be the godmother of the 81st International Film Festival of the Venice Biennale. The announcement arrived on Saturday 12 May. The actress will inaugurate the exhibition on the evening of Wednesday 28 August 2024, on the stage of the Sala Grande, at the Palazzo del cinema on the Lido to also do the honors at the closing ceremony scheduled for 7 September, with the announcement of the awards.

Studies as an actress and modeling activity

Born in Rome, Sveva Alviti studied acting with some of the best American teachers, including the famous coach Susan Batson, and at the same time pursued her modeling career. His Broadway debut was in 2009, with a starring role in The Interrogation. In Venice he made his debut two years later, in 2011, with the short film Alice by Roberto de Paolis.
